This FAQ is meant to answer questions not covered in our Ordering Info. section. Please read that section first. The FAQ is divided into the following 3 categories:
Do you have a minimum order?
Yes, but only for screenprinting, not for embroidery. See Ordering Info. for details.
What is your turn around time?
Usually two weeks, although we offer rush service for an additional fee
Do you offer art services?
Yes, we have a creative in-house art staff, and also a large selection of clip-art designs.
Do you require a deposit?
On new orders we require a 50% deposit up front, and the balance upon completion. In some cases, we may accept a Purchase Order or hold a credit card number in lieu of the deposit. Please call for details.
Do you accept checks or credit cards?
Yes, we accept cash, Mastercard, Visa, money orders and most checks (No third party or post-dated checks please!).
Do I have to order in person?
No, you can also place your order by phone, fax or email.
Do you have heat transfers?
We have heat transfer letters and numbers for jerseys, but we do not carry heat transfer images.
Do you offer digital direct-to-garment printing?
No, not at this time..
How many colors can you print or embroider?
We can print up to six (6) spot colors in a design. Embroidered designs can have as many as fifteen (15) colors.
Can I see a printed or embroidered proof?
Yes, if you ask to do so. Making changes to the design after it has been approved is discouraged and may require extra set-up or art fees. Overnight shipping charges may apply if you can't approve it in person.
Do you ship?
Yes. We will ship anywhere in the U.S.A. The order must first be paid in full, including shipping and handling charges.
Is the printing and embroidery done on the premises?
Yes, everything is done in-house at our Rockville location.
What computer programs do you use?
CorelDraw X3, Adobe Illustrator CS, Adobe Photoshop CS, Pulse DGML, Corel Drawings X3 in PC format.
Do you need color separations?
Yes. Multi-color images need to be mechanically color separated (each color printed in black and white on a separate sheet of paper or film). If you have artwork in a vector format such as CorelDraw or Illustrator, we can print out the separations for you. If you don't provide separations or vector artwork you may have to pay an art fee.
Do you accept CMYK separations?
Yes, but please call first for specifications.
Can you match PMS colors?
Yes, but there is a color matching fee of $15 per color.
How big can an image be printed?
The maximum imprint area on adult size shirts is 13" wide x 15" high. Left chest prints are usually 3 to 4 inches. The imprint area on youth size shirts is smaller. Call for details.
Can customers supply their own screens?*
No, we only print with our own screens.
Do customers own the screens?*
No, you are not buying the screens. The one-time Screen Set-Up Fee is a labor charge which covers the preparation and cleaning of the screens. We re-use the screens over and over again, and we keep your designs on file for future re-orders.
Do you only sell t-shirts?
No, we also sell sweats, golf shirts, hats, jackets, team jerseys, shorts, tote bags, aprons etc.
Do you sell blank items?
No, they must be printed or embroidered.

Do you sell pre-printed shirts?
No, we only do custom work.
What sizes are available?
Most items are available in adult sizes S (34-36), M (38-40), L (42-44), XL (46-48), XXL (50-52), XXXL (54-56) and youth sizes XS (2-4), S (6-8), M (10-12), L (14-16). Select styles come in infant sizes 6,12 and 18 months, toddler sizes 2T, 4T and 5/6, and adult sizes up to 6X, XLT and 2XLT.
Do you have samples for customers to compare?
Yes, we have samples of most items and colors at our office in Rockville.
